PHOTOS: I will ask you to email your favorite photos of your pet. Three pictures will usually do the trick. Clear photos with lots of natural lighting will produce the best results. I paint from reference, so angles and lighting will be important. Keep in mind this is a portrait, make sure you are happy with the photos you send me! I can’t wait to meet your lovely pet!
TIMESCALE: I am excited to begin your painting! Currently, commissions may take 3-4 weeks to complete, including drying. I have ongoing projects so there may be a short delay before starting yours. Oil paints take longer to dry, so to avoid damages it’s important that the surface is fully dry before shipping or delivering. If the portrait is needed for a special occasion, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.
ADVERTISING: I use social media to promote my business. If you do NOT want your portrait shared online, please let me know beforehand. If the portrait is a surprise gift, I will only post it after it's been given. Kindly share any crucial dates with me so that posting too soon can be avoided.
ADDITIONAL PETS: I reserve the right to require a larger canvas size for multiple pets if you will include more than one pet on one canvas. Prices may vary depending on how many. If you have any questions, please contact me to discuss prior to making the purchase in the cart, we will work together to find the right size canvas for your work.

Meet The Artist
Katie's artistic journey began in early 2021 when she transitioned from small pencil drawings of her favorite AHL hockey players, to giving oil paint a try instead. A devoted fan of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, her passion for both art and hockey is what got her started. Her debut in pet portraits was a heartfelt tribute to her childhood dog, Lego, who passed away soon after Katie had finished the portrait of her. Her goal is for each brushstroke to show a personal style, tell a story, hold a memory, and for her work to bring smiles to others faces through her work.
She truly loves what she’s doing for others and hopes to continue painting pets for a very long time.
